Talisman Unveil Jens Ray Cournede As New Executive Chef

Following the untimely demise of their award winning executive chef, Marcus Mitchell, the Talisman Restaurant in Karen have unveiled Jens Ray Cournede their new executive chef. Ray has served as a chef at the Peponi Hotel in Lamu, a consultant chef for the Tamarind Group and Windsor Hotel. The French-Danish chef gathered a large following while at the Peponi Hotel in Lamu. His cooking has been described audacious, unique and profound in terms of creativity and presentation.

We most certainly wish Chef Ray all the best as he takes over as the executive chef at Talisman! We cannot wait to taste his cooking!
