Using a knife
This is the method for anyone who has lost all their kitchen tools (or is camping and couldn’t pack any of them). All you need is a chopping board and a sharp knife. Once washed and destemmed, take your cauliflower florets and chop them into bite-sized then tiny pieces until you have the amount you require. You may not be able to make a large amount with this technique but it might save you if you’re ever in a pinch.
Using a grater
Here is a less time-consuming method. All you need is a grater and a large bowl. Once washed and destemmed, take your cauliflower florets and run them down the medium-sized part of your grater. You don’t want to grate them too small otherwise you won’t get the right-sized pieces.
Using a blender or food processor
Both machines pretty much work the same way so you don’t have to stress if you have one and not the other. Once washed and destemmed, place the cauliflower florets into your machine and gently pulse until they are the right size. You don’t want to run the machine for too long otherwise you will end up with a paste!
