At the mention of 360 Degrees Pizza, you’ll probably start daydreaming about their glorious Ham and Mushroom pizza and you’re allowed to because we said dieting starts next year. But now, there’s an excuse for you to head there every now and then after work for the Happy Hour session that starts every 5pm- 8pm.
We all love boutique dining and drinking experiences and that’s why the two trendiest words when it comes to drinks are craft and artisanal. 360 Degrees Pizza just introduced a new array of tantalizing happy hour craft cocktails that you’re bound to love.
Most of the craft cocktails at 360 Degrees are new while some were there before but have been tweaked to bring out more flavour. The Yummy team was delighted to try out the cocktails at their outlet in Rosslyn Riviera as we chatted with friends, indulged in typical millennial behaviour (Instagram who dis) and learned how to make cocktails!
360 Mojito
We talked about this cocktail enough at our office that some of our colleagues are now asking when the next happy hour meet up is because you all have to try this! It’s a refreshing drink that comes together with Bombay Sapphire Gin (yes!), tree tomato juice, grenadine, mint, fresh lime and soda water. The flavours balance out but neither do they kill the taste of the gin. Comes highly recommended.
360 Perfect Serve
If you’re going for something a little strong, this is the drink for you. Whiskey usually lights up the palate with its spicy and dark fruity notes and this cocktail is worth your while. With Marker’s Mark Bourbon, Martini Rosso, cranberry juice, syrup, fresh lime and cherry, we’d recommend this for a more mature drinker who knows their drink.
Cucumber and Basil G&T
Bringing life to your classic Gin & Tonic! We’ve tried and tasted different takes on the G&T and this one is definitely at the top. The idea of adding cucumber and basil slightly masks the gin and the tonic agrees with the Elderflower. We recommend this for those of you who want something simple yet fun.
Hendrick’s Blossom
If there’s a drink that’s sophisticated on the palate is this one. 360 Degrees really outdid themselves with this cocktail because the flavours are rich and it’s easy to get it wrong but they don’t disappoint. The Elderflower is a powerful plant that adds fruity and flowery notes while the cranberry juice, lime and Hendrick’s Gin balance it out. It leaves an impressive taste on the mouth and we recommend this for those who want something sophisticated and unique. It stands out.
Strawberry Mudslide
When we saw this we were like, oh, when is the next brunch? If there’s something as ‘beautiful drinks’, then this has to be it. It’s as beautiful as it is potent. It has Marker’s Mark, Ketel One Vodka, salted caramel ice cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce. If you love colour and flavour, this one is for you.
Elderflower Apperitivo
This is another ‘brunch’ kind of drink and definitely one wine lovers would enjoy. It’s light on the mouth and the Prosecco with its fruity notes and aroma makes it inviting and works wonderfully as an aperitif. Probably that’s why we dug into the Mozzarella sticks and Olive tapenade crostini that much.
Mint Julep
With strong citrusy notes and a hint of Marker’s Mark bourbon used, you’ll enjoy this if you don’t want to have a long night. It also has orange juice, syrup and mint leaves. It has a zesty spark to it and hits just right.
Cocktails are 50% off during Happy Hour which starts from 5pm-8pm at ABC Place branch and Rosslyn Riviera branch.
