Pizza Hut Middle East rolled out a pizza featuring soft crust pockets filled with mini-beef patties fixed with mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and Pizza Hut’s Special Sauce. We’re intrigued, but perhaps not quite enough to book a flight.

And speaking of over-the-top burger combos, try to wrap your head around the Doughnut Burger, a.k.a. The Luther. Yes, that’s a burger served up on a glazed doughnut in place of a bun. But don’t knock it until you’ve tried it — the unlikely sweet-savory combo really does work.
4. “Big Mac” Macarons
A dessert burger? Would you give it a shot? Rachael of food blog La Fuji Mama has taken the delicate French macaron and given it a distinctly American feel with these “Big Mac” Macarons. The buns are classic almond macarons, the patty is made of bittersweet chocolate ganache, and the lettuce and tomatoes are crafted out of a bizarre candy called chocolate plastic.
5. Dee Snider Burger
Ready? Here’s what the burger is topped with: peanut butter, jelly, bacon … and Sriracha. A burger named after the lead singer of Twisted Sister is bound to be pretty wild, but the dudes behind the Grill ‘Em All Truck in Los Angeles really outdid themselves with the Dee Snider.
6. The Burger Map
The folks behind The Burger Map in Sao Paulo, Brazil, have a serious thing for American burgers. So much so that they traveled around the U.S. to find out the secrets of burger-making before opening their restaurant. And the menu at The Burger Map is pretty promising: There’s a chili burger topped with Tex-Mex cheese sauce, chili and tortilla chips– and a red, white and blue Pimento Cheeseburger.

Beans, tuna and tomatoes are all canned foods we can stand behind, but a Cheeseburger in a Can? Not so sure about this one. Cheeseburger In A Can is a tasty treat for any fan of the hearty sandwich made popular by American fast food chains or just grilled up in your back yard. The Garbage Plate, a scary-sounding concoction from Rochester, New York, is a burger (or cheeseburger, or two hot dogs, or grilled cheese, or ham, or eggs) loaded up with your choice of fries, baked beans, home fries or macaroni salad. If that wasn’t enough, the whole thing is crowned with mustard, onion and a beefy hot sauce. Oh, and toast, too.
