Weekly Events at Tamambo Village Market
Tamambo Village Market always has a variety of tricks up their sleeve, say their daily sumptuous 2 course lunch going for only Ksh 1000. Every Friday, head out to this casual and trendy joint and dance to some soothing Jazz music by the Dangers Crew. This Thursday (30th April) will see Tamambo host Michael Ongaro and the Sentalain Band from 8 pm. Oh, and entry is free.
Cake City’s Brownie Festival
Cake City will be hosting a Brownie festival this Friday, with lots of their popular brownies selling at a 50% discount.
Who wouldn’t mind some fine delicacies sourced all the way from Bogota, Colombia? In case you like planning things way in advance, here’s a Colombian Food Festival that will be taking place at Sankara Nairobi from 5th-10th May. The authentic food menu will be prepared by visiting Chef Gerardo Zambala with music by acclaimed composer, Frent Cumbiero.
Wine and Canvas Nairobi
The Wine Shop invites you for Wine and Canvas on May 10th. Talented local artists will take art and wine lovers through a one-of-a-kind painting class. For only Ksh 3500 per person, hang on to your paint brush, sample authentic wines from around the world and get painting.
Rhino Charge Party with a Purpose
On 2nd May, Team 23 invite you to party with them at Karura Forest. There will be lots of fun for the family and you will get to raise funds towards this year’s Rhino Charge. The much celebrated award winning band Sauti Sol will be there keeping you entertained with their smashing hits. Advance tickets are going for Ksh. 2,500 while tickets at the gate will be selling at Ksh. 3,000. Children below 12 years will be charged Ksh. 500.
Labour Day Special at InterContinental Hotel Nairobi
The InterContinental Hotel Nairobi will be having a Labour Day Special themed week as they usher in the long Labour Day weekend. The lunch buffet will begoing for Ksh. 2,900 and will include themes such as Italian, Kenyan, Oriental and Asian.
