Best Places For Mexican Food In Nairobi

written by Yummy Team 11th September 2019

Mexican cuisine is firmly planting its feet in the Nairobi food scene and that means you can now find more than just the odd quesadilla. From the well-known tacos to the lesser-known tortas, these restaurants have menus filled with Mexican delicacies that will delight fans of the cuisine.

Burrito Bar

The Burrito Bar is a conceptual modern Mexican restaurant that recently relocated to The Alchemist Bar. Brought to you by sisters Fatuma and Faiza Hersi, Burrito Bar prides itself on bringing a modern Mexican twist to some of the meals included on their menu as many of the ingredients chosen are readily available in Kenya! Their fish tacos are a must-try along with their spicy salsas.

FONDA NBO

We are fond of Fonda’s food (you know you saw that pun coming) for many reasons. The first reason is that they come served in a generous portion. The second reason is that the passion behind each meal is evident when you speak to the owner, Yash. Between the themed drinks that come in vibrant colours to the decor, everything about this restaurant makes us feel like we hopped on a plane and landed right in the heart of Mexico.
