Bio announced the launch of a new range of Non-Dairy Yoghurt in the Kenyan market. A first of its kind in the Eastern and Central region of Africa. The new range of Non-Dairy Coconut Milk Yoghurt consists of 4 variants including Nature-Plain, Mango, Pineapple and Tropical Mix.
Bio Food Products is well known for high-quality dairy products but has now outdone itself by expanding its spectrum into non-dairy products.
“More people around the world are opting for plant-based alternatives as part of a healthy lifestyle. We thus set out to bring this innovation to Kenya. We looked at the locally available sources and we found fantastic Kentaste coconut milk made along the beautiful Kenyan coast. All-natural and all locally grown,” said Eelco Weber, Bio Food Products managing director.
Taking innovation and sustainability even further, the Bio Non-Dairy Coconut Milk Yoghurt cups are made from 100% recycled Kenyan plastic. Tested extensively to ensure they meet the highest packaging standards for Bio quality products. In addition to this, the lids are made of PET so now the whole cup and lid can be recycled. Consumers who do not have their garbage collector supporting recycling yet can simply bring back their empty yoghurt cups and lids at selected supermarkets who are partnering with Bio in the Bio Take Back bins program for recycling.
Yet another fantastic and exciting innovation from Bio Food Products, with a range of products that are a wonderful treat for everybody, but especially good news for vegans, vegetarians and for those who are lactose-intolerant.
