Garlic Parmesan & Rosemary Steak Sauce
125g Brown’s Salted Butter
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup beef stock
1/2 cup double cream
1/2 cup Brown’s parmesan, grated
1/4 cup Brown’s cream cheese
A few sprigs of fresh rosemary
Salt & Black pepper to taste
1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic for 2 minutes & stir frequently. Whisk in flour until butter turns light brown, this should take about 2 minutes or so.
2. Whisk beef broth, rosemary & all remaining ingredients. The sauce should start thickening but keep whisking to keep a smooth consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add a little beef stock. Season with salt & pepper.
