You are the airport terminal all tired waiting for your luggage at the baggage carousel to be processed so that go on with your business. So as you’re waiting, you realise something. Your luggage has been replaced with something even more glorious. A case of Carlsberg beer! Yes you read right Danish beer giants, Carlsberg, recently surprised passengers at a London Airport by replacing their luggage that was due to with free crates of beer.
The video of the marketing stunt was published on their UK YouTube page, showing puzzled travellers looking on as crates of bottled lager emerged with ‘Take me, I’m yours’ written on the pack .Though surprised, the passengers begin to happily pick up the packs of free beer with the company’s strapline, “If Carlsberg did cases…” appearing over the video.
This is not the first time Carlsberg has pulled such stunts they did one at a Belgian cinema in 2012, showing couples negotiating an auditorium packed with bikers to promote its new global strapline: “That calls for a Carlsberg.”. They also had this where they made Londoners happy again with a billboard that gives out free beer through a self help dispenser.
With the Nairobi Pizza Festival only seven days away, I am beyond excited. With 2 for 1 deals on pizza and Carlsberg at over 30 restaurants, Nairobi is going to one large pizza heaven completed with Carlsberg!
