Celebrating the 42nd Anniversary of Tamarind Restaurant

EatOut was fortunate enough to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Tamarind Restaurant in Mombasa by enjoying an excellent meal on the balcony of this cliff side restaurant. Our menu featured a crab and avocado fiesta, asparagus and palm heart salad, peri peri prawns, highland prime beef fillet and the chocolate truffle for dessert. We enjoyed deliciously cold Dawas as we watched the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Tamarind has been a staple in the Mombasa dining scene known for their freshly-caught seafood dishes and warm and inviting ambiance. It’s definitely a place you need to check out if you’re ever in the area!
