Celebrity chef and owner of Kenya’s premier seafood restaurant, Seven Seafood and Grill, has managed to gunner yet another accolade to his name. He’s been nominated by the Association of International Broadcasters (AIB) for International TV Personality of 2014 for his show ‘Tales From The Bush Larder’. He faces strong competition from fellow nominees Richard Quest, Christian Amanpour (both of CNN) just to name a few.
His nomination comes months after he returned from Bali where he wowed the palates of distinguished diners at the Asia Pacific Pay TV Operators Summit 2014. The global media brand party, was held at the Conde Nast Traveler Reader Awards winning Ayana Resort and Spa on 27th April. His contemporary African menu using Kenyan staples such as Ugali and Cassava was all the rage at the culinary event.
His TV Show, Tales from the Bush Larder has also gained momentum and become one of Kenya’s biggest showbiz exports and airs on Zuku, channel 100 and internationally on 24 Kitchen, Nat Geo people and Nat Geo Wild.
