Fit Fab Foodie's Chocolate Chia Parfait Recipe
Ingredients
Chia layer:
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
100ml nut milk (or regular milk)
Chocolate smoothie layer:
1 frozen banana
½ chopped orange
1 date (pitted)
1 tbsp coconut flakes
100ml nut milk (or regular milk)
1 tbsp cacao powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients into a glass jar, whisk well, cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Blend all ingredients until you are left with a thick smoothie with a mousse like consistency. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- When you’re ready to eat your parfait, simply add alternate layers of the chia and chocolate smoothie, drizzle some molten chocolate (optional) and top with orange zest.
