Fit Fab Foodie's Chocolate Chia Parfait Recipe

Serves: 1 Prep Time: Cooking Time:


  • Chia layer:
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 100ml nut milk (or regular milk)
  • Chocolate smoothie layer:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ chopped orange
  • 1 date (pitted)
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 100ml nut milk (or regular milk)
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder


  • Mix all ingredients into a glass jar, whisk well, cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Blend all ingredients until you are left with a thick smoothie with a mousse like consistency. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • When you’re ready to eat your parfait, simply add alternate layers of the chia and chocolate smoothie, drizzle some molten chocolate (optional) and top with orange zest.
