From the Savoy London, Woldorf New York, Peninsula Hong Kong to the Fairmont Norfolk Nairobi. No city is complete without that founding hotel with the epic history behind it. Nairobi is no exception. The Norfolk is the landmark relic of the Nairobi landscape that has evolved into a contemporary hotel that offers all the trimmings and tradition. But to really experience one of theses hotels you must have High Tea.
No landmark hotel is complete with out an extravagant High Tea Menu and the Norfolk does not fail to supply any less. They in fact have 2 landmark hotel menus both the Norfolk and the Savoy menu. Each served with a little bubbly. And as usual no High Tea is complete with out cucumber sandwiches.
The Tea itself was a point of attraction offering 3 iced tea blends, actually tisanes, from Safari Lounge. Now for the food:
As I said the cucumber sandwich is the mark of a good high tea! This one a a little twist to it.
