Being the last Chef in this great culinary innovation, he has over 25 years experience with an excellent specialty in Kyoto Cuisine.
Chef Takagi entered the culinary world at the age of 23, prevailing with great talent, dedication and passion leading to the opening of his own restaurant, ‘Takagi” in Japan. His restaurant has received two Michelin stars since 2010, when the first Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Nara version of the Michelin Guide was published.
His creations reflect the season and unfold cultural tales, with is soup being the most symbolic of his cooking, which is composed, delicate and illustrative. Often called the master of Japanese Cuisine, his cooking encompasses the Kyo style-‘Kyo-ryori’, recognized for all its seasonal dishes that appeal to all the senses.
