Dairy-free Chocolate Banana Ice cream

Lactose-intolerant people can rejoice! There is ice cream you can consume without any discomfort, tastes great and is easy to make. Here is a chocolate version of this delicious ice cream.

Serves: 2 Prep Time: Cooking Time:


4 ripe bananas
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup cocoa powder (optional)
1/2 cup melted chocolate
1/4 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, coconut)



  1. Cut bananas into 1/4 inch pieces.
  2. Add bananas, milk, cocoa (or melted chocolate) and vanilla essence to blender/food processor/Nutribullet and blend until smooth.
  3. Place in freezer to chill for 30 minutes to an hour.
  4. Serve and enjoy.
