Diageo Partners with Movenpick Hotel for an Exclusive Whiskey Tasting and Dining Experience

The dining destination introduces an exclusive whiskey pairing menu featuring dishes from Executive Chef Aris Athanasiou

Diageo Kenya has partnered with Movenpick Hotel & Residences to host an exclusive whisky tasting and grand dinner at the signature revolving restaurant, The View, which is located on the 24th floor and offers a panoramic 360-degree view of the city.

The soiree offered a one-of-kind journey, an exploration of whisky and meal that united two strengths of flavours and therefore created a new ensemble that goes beyond the pleasure of the sum of each element taken separately. Throughout the Whisky Gourmet dinner, guests got to discover how new flavours develop in the palate, leading to a great appreciation of the experience and a feeling of harmony.

Diageo Kenya hand-selected five Scotch whiskies and expertly matched them with a five-course meal created by the talented Executive Chef, Aris Athanasiou. He created a warm atmosphere that leads attendees to learn, have fun and enjoy the experience of the traditional Swiss specialities.

Merging the modern contemporary style of the View restaurant and the heritage, craftsmanship and oak-wood feel of the scotch whiskies, the whisky and dining experience provided a relaxed ambience for a leisurely dinner with family and friends; destined to become one of Nairobi’s best dining destinations.
