Dormans Unveils Premier New Look Branch

Dormans coffee shops has unveiled its first new look branch at the Air Kenya lounge, Wilson Airport on Langata road.

The rebranded shop blends all the best elements of Dormans, paying homage to its classic roots, while giving a refreshing urban twist that celebrates Nairobi’s vibrant energy.

Rebranding is the first step in the joint venture project between ArtCaffe and Dormans earlier in the year, which entailed the acquisition and management by Artcaffé on specific Dormans Coffee shops.

“We are excited to welcome the next generation Dormans Coffee Shops into the market primarily because of the numerous employment opportunities it will avail for Kenya’s youth.” Njeri Kariuki, Artcaffe Marketing and Communications Manager said.

With regards to food, the new coffee shop boasts of a new menu with a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, pastries, cakes and cookies.

Popular dishes on the menu include the Dorman’s Signature Cheese Burger served with two kinds of cheeses, the healthy Mediterranean Salad perfect with the Cumin and lemon dressing and the Chicken Tikka Sandwich made with boneless chicken breast, cucumber, lettuce, red curry paste, garlic confit, coriander and mint pesto.

To complement the food menu, customers can sample a variety of both hot and cold beverages including smoothies, shakes, ice coffees and classics like cappuccinos, and mochas all made from Dormans’ hallmark quality coffee.

Aside from their favourite cup of coffee, fans of Dormans coffee shops will be treated to the best photography in Kenya as the newly refurbished shop lend its walls to exhibit work from local photographers.

“The restaurant walls will serve as a unique gallery space showcasing local talented photographers whose passion allows us a unique view of our city and its people,” said Ms Kariuki.

The Air Kenya shop is officially opened for business daily from 6.30a.m. – 5p.m. including weekends and public holidays.
