For the first time in its 7 year history, African businesses took centre stage at Europe’s largest digital marketing conference, DMEXCO 2015 in Cologne Germany on the 16th & 17th of September 2015.
EatOut’s Mikul Shah was invited to participate on a special panel discussing the opportunities in Africa titled ‘Emerging Markets – What can we learn from Africa?’ with Jeremy Hodara, CEO of Africa Internet Group (Jumia, Hellofood, Easy Taxi, Kaymu) and moderated by Nicola Mendlelsohn, Vice President EMEA for Facebook.
“It was incredible to simply attend DMEXCO, let alone sit on the panel discussion in front of thousands of the world top digital marketers. It really gives you an insight into the future and scale of the digital revolution, and it was also important to see that the focus is shifting to Africa” said Mikul about the conference.
With over 43,000 visitors consisting of top decision makers and digital marketing experts from all over the world, 500 speakers and just under 900 exhibitors including the likes of BMW, Facebook, Google, Instagram, Microsoft, Salesforce, Twitter, VICE & Yahoo.
