Experience An Authentic Coastal Dish With Intercontinental Hotel’s New Lamu Tamu Menu

A piece of Lamu is now coming to The Terrace, Intercontinental Hotel with their new Lamu Tamu nights promising to give dinners an authentic Swahili cuisine.

On Thursday, 22nd November, The Terrace Restaurant launched their new menu where dinners will be treated to delectable coastal dishes with a complimentary welcome drink, madafu as they experience a live cooking session by ChefSimon Wanjau to bring that true coastal feeling home. Their new menu is set to kick off this and every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at a cost of Ksh. 3,500 per person.

On the menu will be a selection of chicken & papaya salad, sweet potato & chives, avocado & mango salad and fattoush for starters, egg cutlets (Katlesi za mayai), poached tilapia, fried plantain, grilled pork chops (mbavu za mbuzi ulaya), fish kebabs and chicken chapati wraps for the main course and for dessert kashata za nazi, matobosho, kaimati, cake and fresh fruits.
