Fast Food Spots in Parklands

written by Jean Wandimi 8th October 2014

Love ’em or hate ’em, fast food joints are an integral part of the restaurant scene because they give people the opportunity to grab food on the go. Many working adults enjoy fries, burgers, hot dogs and fizzy drinks on their lunch breaks, and enjoy buying the same for their kids on the weekends. If you are in the Parklands area and need to visit a fast food joint, here are the top options we’ve found:

Creamy Inn Parklands

Creamy Inn can be found in the Oil Libya Service Station, Limuru Road. If you are searching for the tastiest ice-cream and desserts, this would be the best place to go. It also has a spacious seating area where people can have their ice-cream as they chat.

Naked Pizza

Naked means natural. Naked Pizza is  an honest diversity of  whole food ingredients that are natural with fewer calories and free of added sugar, hydrogenated oil or preservatives. The best news is that naked pizza also delivers to many pats of Nairobi and you can get fresh pizza at the comfort of your home or office.

When you think of Galito’s, your mind automatically shifts to delicious flame grilled chicken. The Galito’s chicken is prepared your way; it can have a lemon & herb, mild, hot or extra hot basting to flavour your meat. You’re guaranteed to enjoy it.

Pizza Inn

This is one of the best places in the area to grab a pizza.  Located at the Oil Libya Service Station, Limuru Road, Pizza Inn promises to deliver the best tasting pizza using only the freshest ingredients; even the pizza dough is made fresh daily in store. It makes for a great fast food spot to drop by with friends.

All of these are wrong. Best ice cream is the dairy bar inside diamond plaza, everyone knows that. Moto Moto is the place to go for chips and chicken, galitos can take their overpriced artificial smoke flavoring and wedge it up their a$$es. now you listen, I will forgive you for forgetting to mention shwarma king or the poussin chicken on the corner there on the right when you first walk in but it just would not be fair for me to sit idly by as you sloppily gloss over parklands’ rich cuisine without mentioning the gourmet buffet at lalquila or the Bhajia at marus or even the smokies at, well, smokies. And you call yourself a food critic!

Firstly nobody is calling themselves a food critic. We appreciate you comments and just want to point out that this is just a list of options and there are many more.

In addition:

The ice-cream parlour is called Sno-Cream and we will be doing a full feature on Diamond plaza very soon.

Lal Quila has closed down almost a year ago.

Well said, we have lots of over priced restaurants and fast food joints, most of them invariably will shut down in 6 months of opening while pocket friendly severing authentic tasty food places are likely to survive .
