French Wine And Spirits Tasting At dusitD2 (Pictorial)

written by Fred Mwithiga 14th July 2015

The first French wines and spirits tasting was like honey to a wine loving bee. To get to taste a variety of wines that aren’t in the Kenyan market was truly an honour and a perfect opportunity to indulge. The tasting was organised by Business France, Trade and Invest office of the Embassy of France.

It brought together connoisseurs, wine enthusiasts, food and beverage managers, journalists for a thrilling afternoon of wine swirling, sniffing and swigging. Or rather that’s what I was doing. It wasn’t all about wine. I met Daniele le Normand, the CEO of Rhums & Punches Isautier, a delightful lady who blessed me with her banana flavoured rum. Ultimately the highlight of my experience. Want to see how that went? Here are some pictures from the event.
