SIERRA HOSTS GENTLEMEN OF JAZZ
Sierra Platinum, a brand under the Sierra stable will on the 21st July, 2012 host jazz music lovers at the Platinum lounge; Sierra Brasserie, Yaya Center. Renowned “Gentlemen of jazz” Anto Neosoul, Change Quarter and the Itch will woo music lovers with their jazzy tunes.
Targeted at Nairobi’s hip socialites, Sierra has lined up a series of exciting activities aimed at creating an environment where loyal customers can interact in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying their drinks
Scheduled to perform is Anthony Mwangi a.k.a Anto Neosoul, a 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards Nominee who writes his own music, a fusion of world music, Jazz, Afro Jazz, Reggae and NeoSoul. He will be performing alongside the Itch band led by Steve Kiwinda on Bass and Change quartet, an instrumental band with loyal following across Nairobi, that plays plays Acoustic Jazz, fused with classical, funk and African Music.
Sierra beers are 100% Kenyan. They are micro-brewed at the Sierra brewery on Mombasa road using the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516, that states that only malted barley or wheat, hops, water and yeast may be used to make beer. The brands under the label include; Sierra Blonde, Sierra Amber, Sierra Porter and its flagship brand Sierra Platinum, which was unveiled in November last year.
