When we talk about Cuban cuisine cannot fail to mention its delicious cocktails, especially those made on the basis of pure Cuban rum. Many of these drinks, which now have international recognition, are prepared in most clubs and bars in our towns and beaches, because they are usually so refreshing.
However, when it comes to creating the perfect cocktails, sometimes it is the little things that can make the difference between a great cocktail, a mediocre one and one that gets spit into the sink. If you pay attention to skilled bartenders you will notice that there are a few steps they take when making almost any cocktail that add that “WOW” factor to the drink.
Take for example Cuban Night that happens every Wednesday at the WWW Shop and Bar at the Junction Mall. I was happy enough to sample their signature Cuban cocktails that are worth sampling in your next visit. To set the ambience, some high energy Cuban tunes play softly in the background, the perfect prelude to the eventful night.
From the classic mojito, the Cuba libre to the pina colada all the way to the daiquiri, Asaph, the official bartender whipped us up some authentic Cuban cocktails. Professionally mixed in front of your eyes, the authentic cocktails are enough to send you in frenzy.
Before you save the date to try them out this coming Wednesday, here is a cocktail recipe that is sure to set you in the Cuban mood.
