Does it ever get boring preparing meals in your house all the time? If the answer is yes, then Healthy U is here for the rescue with a green smoothie. They will be holding a Health and Wellness Series live cooking demo every Thursday from 1 pm at the Village Market.
They had the first one and they will do this over the next four weeks. We know you’ve whispered a silent thank you for this piece of information but it’s our honour to keep you in the loop. In the meantime, try this green smoothie recipe and enjoy your weekend.
- 1 tablespoon of wheatgrass
- 1 tablespoon of moringa
- 1 tablespoon of chlorella
- 1 medium banana
- 1 handful of spinach
- 2 cups of pineapple
- 1 cup of water
- Place everything into a blender and blend well. Add more water if needed.
- Top with chia seeds, goji berries, healthy granola if desired.
