Award-winning musician Ed Sheeran recently got himself a Heinz ketchup logo tattoo. The company has, in turn, placed several of Ed Sheeran’s tattoos on a range of limited ketchup bottles.
This is not the first time that Ed Sheeran has partnered with Heinz. Earlier this year, the company made Edchup, a limited edition of Ed-inspired ketchup. This year, the company intends to raise money for the Rise Against Hunger and East Anglia Children’s Hospices charities with the sale of the 150 limited Heinz bottles that bear Ed Sheeran’s tattoos.
According to Billboard, there are only 104 signed bottles, which will be given away through an online sweepstake. Three of the bottles will be auctioned at Christy’s.
A statement from the online giveaway partner reads, “Celebrating 150 years of Heinz, our number one fan Ed Sheeran has collaborated with us once again, this time on a very special, very limited edition bottle of his favourite sauce. Just 150 bottles are available across the world, each meticulously crafted, and signed by the man himself. And as if that’s not enough, every piece also comes in a Collector’s Edition speaker box. 104 bottles are up for grabs in our global free prize draw.”
This is a great initiative in the food industry that will go a long way in helping those in need.
