Designed by Bowman & Associates, it will be set up in a 20 acres of land at the leafy suburbs of Karen approximately 14Kms from Nairobi CBD.
Being close to the southern bypass The Hub will be easily accessible for both international and domestic tourists. The Hub will have an eco-conscious development incorporating water recycling facilities, State of art energy efficiency systems and water disposal plants.
The two phase development will have the first phase comprising of shops, multi-cuisine restaurants, offices, medical facilities and a well center all around a 2000sqm (1/2 acre) open air space. It will also have a 4000sqm (1 arce) lake at the recreation area as a leisure space as well as a water harvesting feature.Philippe Cauviere of The Hub Karen explained, “By 2022, Kenya’s middle class is expected to grow by 30 percent.”
The second phase of the hub will mainly comprise of a fully serviced hotel and conference facilities.
