Jameson Irish Whiskey’s has entered into an exclusive collaboration with the Big Five Breweries (Brew Bistro & Lounge) to produce a distinct craft beer brewed in the unique Jameson oak whiskey barrel.
Known for Inspiring passion for craft, quality and neighborhood collaboration explores a first for Sub-Saharan Africa with a one-of-a-kind whiskey, Jameson took Big Five Breweries, Master Brewer, Aleem Ladak to spend time at the iconic Jameson distillery in Ireland. For him, the aim is to create a beer inspired by his experience yet with a distinctly Kenyan feel.
While at the distillery Ladak noted “The difference between commercially produced beer and craft beer lies in the complexity, depth and variety of flavour that goes into each. At the Big Five Breweries, there is a great emphasis on brewing unique and high quality flavours”
A unique craft beer, deserves a unique name. An open call to talented and innovative creative individuals to help bring the beer’s identity to life. The competition entails designing an exceptional brand name, logo and bottle label. The winner will walk away with an all-expenses paid trip to Dublin for the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
