KFC, Subway, Coldstone, Dominos and Ocean are some of the international food chains to open outlets in the city recently to mention just but a few. But it looks like we are only getting started as more and more international food chains work towards investing in the country. The most recent one is the Japanese grilled Chicken which is set to open an outlet in Nairobi come next month.
Renowned Japanese fast food chain Teriyaki Japan is planning to open an outlet in the CBD along Mama Ngina drive, same street where ColdStone, the American ice cream chain recently setup. Teriyaki Japan is best known for its grilled chicken and it is said that they have invested about Kshs. 100,000,000 in their first outlet in Nairobi and there are plans to expand in future based on how the market responds to the first one.
