Jazz Night At Le Palanka

written by Jean Wandimi 8th October 2014

I think there’s a reason Le Palanka chose to host their Jazz night ever Wednesday and Saturday: Wednesday, or hump day, falls smack in the middle of everyone’s stressful work week; people could use a soothing, relaxing evening to carry them through the rest of the week.Jazz music is known to be therapeutic; even more so when you are having a great meal with great company. Nairobians cherish the weekends and look forward to Saturday’s full day of errands and leisure activities; listening to smooth, upbeat music would end it in style.

Jazz originated from African American communities in the late 20th century and has inspired aficionados from many parts of the world. Jazz adherents in Kenya now get to enjoy this landmark musical style twice a week at Le Palanka – named one of the Best Restaurants for African Cuisine as well as one of the Best Restaurants in Lavington.
