KFC Opens A New Outlet In Westlands

Global food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), which is one of the world’s most popular chicken restaurants, has opened a new shop in Woodvale Grove, Westlands, Nairobi.

Popularly known as KFC, the new restaurant chain will be known as ‘KFC Westlands’  and join a growing list like the ones on the Junction Shopping Mall, Galleria Mall and Kimathi Street attracting the growing middle class as they race to expand their footprint in emerging markets.

KFC is a US-based company with a large global footprint ran by South African entrepreneur Simon Schaffer through a franchise.

The world’s largest quick-service chicken chain has more than 12,300 outlets in over 80 countries.



KFC mainly sells chicken and has about 650 KFC outlets on the continent, most of which are in South Africa where the first restaurant was opened in 1971.

Over the last two years KFC has trained Kenyans on the KFC brand, and they have gained exposure on how the restaurants are operated in accordance with the international procedures expected.

Actually i like kfc and would be very happy to join the team to work together to improve the business on one side and living standard on the other, im a form four leaver with exprience in stock control/inventory management but im flexible and can do any job in any department
