KFC Kenya has opened a drive-thru on Mombasa Road at the Total Petrol Station after the Tile and Carpet and Airtel Building.
KFC’s new Mombasa road drive-thru is the first of its kind in Kenya and on behalf of the Foodie Nation of Kenya, we accept this development.
KFC has grown in popularity in Kenya since opening doors at Junction in 2011. It has since grown to several outlets in Nairobi including Junction, Kimathi Street, Galleria Shopping Mall, Westlands and now, a drive-thru on Mombasa Road.
Drive-thru fast food outlets are very common abroad because they cater to people who want to buy large volumes of food but don’t want to battle for parking or sit and wait in the outlet.
However, for the “sit down” crowd, there is a seating area at this KFC outlet.
The benefit of a drive-thru over the conventional sit down areas is that drive-thrus are faster to keep the cars moving.
Try it out today and tell us what you think.
