Google has been known to name its mobile operating systems after desserts with previous OS names such as Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean.
Their new Android mobile OS version 4.4 will be called KitKat after the branded chocolate bar.
With over 1 billion Android device activations worldwide the new OS is bound to be well received as it promises to provide an excellent Android experience.
Following the success of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) which was faster with better graphics and more user friendly than its predecessors, Android KitKat already has the bar set pretty high.
