Fun activities at the Lamu Food Festival this Easter!
This Easter, Lamu County will be giving you a chance to taste their diversity as they bring you the inaugural 2015 Lamu Food Expo and Festival. With this year’s theme, “ The Taste of our Diversity,” the community as well as local and international tourists will be treated to a rich culinary experience combined with a display of various cultural activities and a food investors forum.
Those who attend will get a chance to have a taste of traditional Swahili cuisine from the best restaurants in the region and live cultural music. That’s not all, you will also get to learn exciting cooking tips from the cooking displays and seminars scheduled.
A variety of activities shall be featured in the festival such as a cooking competition by women groups around the County, Swahili kitchen exhibition and display, a cooking show, and a donkey pageant – the only one in Kenya to find Mr. and Mrs. Donkey.
