We’re all used to associating Lupita with high society glamour, swanky designer clothes, her fabulous pictures plastered all over top profile magazines, viral celebrity selfies, fabulosity……. but majority of us cannot be able to picture her toiling away in the kitchen, cooking up dinner or sweating her forehead off trying to cook chapos… No. She’s simply too fabulous for that. It therefore came as a surprise then, when she recently took to her Instagram account with a short and simple recipe that left the masses, if not awed by her awesomeness, loving her even more.
Even better, her recipe inspiration came right here from home. Dubbed ”The Lamu Tamu’ (a veggie concoction) Lupita proudly stated the salad reminded her of a recent visit to the beautiful Lamu island at the Coast of Kenya. It was that memorable and refreshing…Take that Mexico!

Lamu Tamu Salad
– Salad Greens (Arugula, Romain, Bibb…)
– Red Bell Peppers
– Mango (tangy, not too ripe)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Oregano, Basil, Parsley, Thyme, Lemon, Lemon Rind, Black Pepper, Salt, Red Pepper Flakes and maybe a drizzle of Apple Cider Vinegar.
