How To Make Pizza In Just Ten Minutes

When you ask people to list down their favorite dishes, pizza does not miss in that list even if it may not be the first. We all think making pizza requires a lot right? A list of ingredients and don’t get me started on the dough, whether thick or thin crust it looks like tedious work that is best done at a restaurant.


Am sure you wish you could be able to make pizza at home, I would make it everyday. Well, guess what, you actually can make pizza at home and it only takes ten minutes and get this, no oven required. Try this recipe and enjoy your very own home-made pizza!

Italian Stove-Top Pizza Recipe

Serves 4


  • 1/2 cup  self raising flour
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 Rounded tsp of dried yeast
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lukewarm water


  • 1/3 cup tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, parsley)
  • Bocconcini, sliced if large
  • Roasted capsicum sliced into strips
  • Sundries tomatoes
  • Pitted Kalamata olives
  • Anchovies (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves, torn


  • Measure plain flour, self-raising flour and salt into the pan
  • In a small bowl, whisk yeast into water with a fork and add honey
  • Combine with dry ingredients in pizza pan and mix together
  • Spread dough over the base of the pizza pan using the tips of your fingers until the base is  covered-no need to knead the dough or  leave it to rise
  • Combine tomato paste and herbs in a small bowl and then spread over the pizza dough with a spatula
  • Top pizza with Bocconcini/Mozzarella, Tomatoes, Olives and Anchovies
  • Place the pan over medium heat and cover
  • Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat and then turn the heat down to medium low and cook for further 10-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves
  • Slice and serve
