After the success since opening Mbuzi Munch Restaurant in Rift Valley in 2016, the restaurant is now open in Nairobi. Mbuzi Munch has opened its second nyama choma restaurant and its first in Nairobi at the Galleria Mall.
The restaurant is serving delicious authentic Kenyan cuisine in an outdoor-grill type restaurant. Situated next to the Craft Market, the restaurant has 200 seats including a raised and covered terrace area allowing live viewing of chefs expertly cooking on lava grills.
All the meals are prepared daily from fresh ingredients and individually cooked prior to serving. All the goat used is organically raised, grass-fed and locally sourced. To achieve maximum tenderness, the meat is hung for 4 days, marinated in secret sauce before being slowly barbecued for that authentic, succulent Kenyan nyama choma taste.
Mbuzi Munch also offers a range of other delicious dishes including chicken and beef burgers wraps, quesadillas as well as vegetarian options and soups.
Meals can be ordered with traditional sides such as ugali, kachumbari, chapatis, greens or rice but also with Kenyan favourites with a twist such as grilled ugali slices. There’s also a comprehensive range of beers and spirits as well as a separate and comprehensive wine menu.
