Nestled in the heart of Hurlingham, on the 7th floor of Four Points by Sheraton is the newly renovated Mezze restaurant. A simple mix of royal blue hues and matte black is the new theme. Coupled with the refreshing breeze that blows through the restaurant and the soft lapping of pool water, it wouldn’t be surprising if you thought you were by the ocean.
The new additions to their menu make the experience even better. The organic hummus from the cold mezzes served with pita bread was simply put together and generously portioned. If you prefer a hot meal as your starter then the spanakopita is the way to go. This warm spinach and goat cheese wrapped in crispy filo pastry with a mint dip was so good we almost wished there was more!
The mains did not disappoint either. Between the grilled rack of lamb and the mezze platter, we were spoiled for choice. The Moroccan spiced grilled rack of lamb was tender and flavourful and paired well with soft, creamy mashed potatoes and vegetables grilled to crunchy perfection.
If you do go with a couple of friends then the mezze platter is best option. There’s something for everyone on it with chicken kebabs, chicken shish taouk, beef kebab, lamb rack and grilled fish.
Sip on something cool from their drinks menu as you enjoy the view and the new ambience.
