The Nairobi Tamarind is set to relocate from Nairobi CBD to Karen Blixen Coffee House this coming 28th March.

Situated inside National Bank Building, Haile Selassie Avenue, The Nairobi Tamarind has had an ambience of elegance and calm in addition to delicious food and superb service.

The Nairobi Tamarind being the leading seafood restaurant in Nairobi boosts of fresh seafood from the coast daily, which includes giant prawns, sweet young crabs, juicy lobsters, squid, octopus and oysters.

Nairobi Tamarind has always built up and maintained a reputation for superb cuisine, and has been voted Restaurant Of The Year on many occasions.

Speaking to yummy on why they were moving to Karen, Geraldine Dunford, Sales and Marketing Manager at The Tamarind Group said, “The congestion and traffic at downtown Nairobi has forced us to relocate.”

She also added Tamarind and Karen blixen will be two different establishment within one venue  “The dining room at Karen Blixen will be converted into Tamarind and it will be serving The Tamarind menu for dinner.”
