Nestlé Premiers Annual Inaugural Chef Forum In Kenya

Nestlé Professional one of the leading food and beverage provider has premiered a Chef Forum targeting Kenya’s leading Chefs.

This annual showcase is expected to start from 29-31st October where top chefs will battle out on best Cusine and recipes using MAGGI Rich Flavours and Cubes range which are Nestle in-house products.

“ The Chefs Forum is a platform for participants to discover and showcase their outstanding skills and a motivating factor to excellence in the Country’s hospitality industry “ said Rabie Issa –  Nestlé  Country Business Manager.

Issa further added “ This is a chance to build long-lasting relationships, share knowledge and insights with the players in the industry, especially the chefs who are the opinion shapers in this business “

Nestlé  will provide the MAGGI samples and the chefs will be required to come up with food and cuisines of their choice from the samples.

The winning recipes will be showcased in cooking demos by respective chefs during the Hostex East Africa Exhibition in October.

“ The Chef’s competition will contribute towards promoting talent and innovative ideas to enhance service delivery in the industry “ added Joseph Onchwati, Nestlé Head Development Chef.

The forum is looking to draw on the reputation, success and experience of organizing other Hostex exhibitions in Cape Town and Johannesburg which has been going on for the last 26 years

Nestlé  using the Forum they are also looking to provide the best way to promote products and sharing experiences in food service and hospitality sector in Kenya.

Nestlé  Kenya was established in 1967 by The Nestle Group, with over 170 employees they are situated in Indusrial Area,Nairobi where they have their Factory and Distribution Centre.

The Kenyan Franchise manufacture products for Eastern and Central Africa and some parts of Southern Africa some products are also exported to UK and rest of the world. Products manufactured include Nescafe, Milo, Nestlé Drinking Chocolate,Cerevita,Cerelac and Maggi.
