The new OhCha Noodle Bar in Westgate is more than a noodle bar, it’s your one-stop-shop for a quick southeast asian meal at an affordable price (nothing on the menu is over ksh 900). On their menu, OhCha boasts everything from Vietnamese style sandwiches to an array of southeast asian noodles and soups.
OhCha is a boutique restaurant with some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy. The service at this restaurant is quick from taking orders to delivering your food. The decor is colourful and bright which makes the space welcoming and eye-catching.
Although the restaurant does not offer alcohol, they offer plenty of interesting and unique drink options. For example, the Lemongrass Lemonade is a unique asian-inspired twist on a classic refreshing drink. It’s definitely worth trying for the adventurous palate.
In terms of cuisine, you’re sure to find a menu item that you’ll enjoy. The menu features classic dishes that you’d expect to find at a southeast Asian restaurant but also includes different takes on classic items and the ability to modify your meal to your liking. Some of the classic menu items include Pad Thai, Japanese Miso Soup, Tom Yum Soup and Vietnamese Baguettes. If none of the dishes on the menu tickle your fancy, the Make-It-Yourself noodle bar is an easy way to customize your meal. The noodle bar has a variety of noodle types, toppings, broths and sauces to choose from.
If you’re a vegetarian, you’ll find a good amount of dishes on the menu for you too. As mentioned before, there’s the Build-It-Yourself noodle bar plus some spring rolls, salads, soups, and two signature dishes. The OhCha staff is also willing to substitute a meat product for tofu, all you have to do is ask.
This restaurant is great for someone who’s on-the-go (service is that fast) or for a group of people looking to enjoy a casual dinner in a relaxing atmosphere.
