As Kenya celebrates it’s 50th birthday, we can’t help but reminisce on how far we’ve come from as a country.
As we go down the memory lane, do you remember the days when there was no Internet (social media), fancy mobile phones, video games etc. Frankly speaking those were the days that people really enjoyed themselves! It was a beautiful era.
We have some of the nostalgic stuff that will definitely make you re-live those fond memories from way back.

Days when drinking chocolate came in tins, with this you would end up making the best sufurias/saucepans when you used to play “chamama” as kids.
We guess you can never know the rich value of this spice till some of you are forced to cook a meal without one.
We guess It was not only for the fathers out there but generally a family product for all.
Tell us of someone who has never drunk Tree top? unless they were born in the mid-late 90s. Tree top used to be the best of the best juice to consume back then. The cooking oil that was being used was either Cowboy or Kimbo, and you couldn’t take your favourite bread without a Blueband spread.
Cowboy Spesheli, you have to give it up for this ad where cooking mandazis and yummy chapatis with it was the in thing.

The sweetest milk ever tasted, and of course one of the best thing the Moi government can be remembered for.
So as we celebrate this year’s Kenya@50 remember to reminsce on the nostalgic days that we as Kenyans have gone through all these 50 years of national heritage and pride. Happy Jubilee year to you all.
