Philip Ndirangu becomes the first winner in the ongoing #NRW2015 online campaign that is being run by EatOut Kenya.
Ndirangu won a voucher for two at Adega Restaurant in the tightly contested #RestaurantSelfie competition for sharing his experience in words and pictures at one of the participating restaurants.
The competition, which stretches through the entire period of the Nairobi Restaurant Week seeks to engage #NRW2015 participants by allowing them to share their dining experience on EatOut Kenya’s Facebook page and on Twitter.
Speaking during the handing over of the voucher, EatOut Kenya General Manager Hiyabel encouraged more people to participate in Nairobi Restaurant Week and take part in the ongoing online campaigns and stand a chance to win vouchers and gift hampers.
“Our generous sponsors and participating restaurants have given us the opportunity to reward active diners who have been sharing their experiences during #NRW2015. We’re excited to be able to offer these gifts to #NRW2015 and EatOut fans”
Already, EatOut has launched a second Facebook competition under the hashtag #FoodiePhotos. Interested participants can post photos of their food at any of the #NRW2015 restaurants to stand a chance to win a voucher for two at Anghiti Restaurant or Bamboo at Zen Garden. The competition runs simultaneously with a third one on both Facebook and Twitter requiring restaurant week participants to post photos of a glass of wine at #NRW2015 any restaurant with hashtags #NRW2015 and #VivaNRW to win a wine hamper courtesy of Viva.
Travelstart and EatOut Kenya have also launched a Win A Trip To South Africa competition that will see one lucky winner win two flights to South Africa.
