Oktoberfest for me has always been one of my favourite times of the year. Held annually it’s the world’s largest beer festival with millions celebrating it not only in its home city of Munich, Germany but across the world. Here in Kenya Brew Bistro has truly embodied the Oktoberfest spirit with its brilliant Oktoberfest beer and food menus. I had the chance to sample some of this menu. Some of the highlights from this menu are the Sausage & Mash that consists of their exclusive German style pork & apple served with a red onion beer gravy & poached apple mash, the Chicken & Stout Stew which consists of slow cooked chicken & spring veggies finished with herb & Temstout with a rich gravy and of course the stout & chocolate brownie served with beer ice cream! Yes you heard that right, beer ice cream!
The beer menu is just as amazing if not better. With beer cocktails such as the Brew Storm, a combination of the Kifabock beer, Tequila, honey, lime & fresh basil. A delicious beer cocktail bound to liven up your evening. Not to forget of course the Caramel flavoured Oktoberfest Special Brew that compliment every meal ordered. You honestly have no excuse not to enjoy this Oktoberfest at the Brew Bistro.

As if that’s not enough Brew Bistro is capping Oktoberfest’s finale with the Epic Oktoberfest Beer Fest being held at the Hub in Karen on the 28th & the 29th of October. Performances from talent like Simply Tomas, The Beathogs, Wairimu Kamatu & Wendy Kemuto but to mention a few will be a part of both evenings’ festivities. The fun on Friday starts at 5pm till 1am while on Saturday it starts at 2pm till 1am. For more details on the event click here.
