In a bid to maintain its status as a world class destination for business travel, Ole Sereni Hotel along Mombasa Road, hosted an exclusive ultra-chic cocktail party and dinner at the hotel Eagles Bar and Lounge. The ‘Airline Party’ was organized for airlines and air operators who have been very beneficial to Ole Sereni as appreciation of the years of working well together.
Being a strictly business hotel, Ole Sereni receives a large amount of traffic from airlines in the way of international business travelers and their parties. It makes sense to say thank you to the people making such successes possible.
Ole Sereni General Manager Ghulam Samdani was present to interact with the guests and industry stakeholders who made an appearance. “A lot of hotels will just give a preferred rate to their partners and that will be the end of it, but here at Ole Sereni we believe in relationships. We want them to know they have people they know and can depend on here. We even have dedicated sales and marketing teams for different client groups so that they have direct access to services they need on a personal level.”
The event was also a prequel of grander things to come from Ole Sereni. The hotel is planning a massive expansion annex on the same grounds as the current Ole Sereni hotel which will see an additional 130 rooms be built to increase business capacity. “This event is pre-marketing for the annex which will be a stand-alone conference focused facility”.
In addition, Ole Sereni has partnered up with Msambweni Beach House and Private Villas in the South Coast to provide maximum travel coverage for the business traveler and his or her guests.
With the festive season finally here, a lot of hotels will be offering great offers and rates on travel and accommodation. In the coming year, this move to solidify relationships with airlines may just be Ole Sereni’s industry trump card.
