The Pearl Koroga Premier League is shifting into second gear this weekend at Caribea from 1pm onwards. But first! a recap of what happened in the first round for all those who missed it.
There were seven teams, with each team having a captain from East FM.
It was fun and laughter with lots of games in between the competition that kept the teams revved up and fueled the competition spirit. Teams engaged in partner musical chairs and guess-the-ingredient-in-the-cocktail among a host of other fun activities.
In the cooking segment, which was the highlight of the day, the teams had a choice of chicken, fish and paneer with a list of vegetables to use.
Each team was required to prepare three dishes for judges who were keen on hygiene, teamwork and above all else, fun.
In the end, four teams were selected seeing them advance to the next stage as the competition gets tighter. The four include:
- Jasmine’s Korogawaale
- Rajesh’s Tu Meri Koroga,
- Riya’s Bindaz Bokwas Baverchi’s
- Allaudin’s The Shaukeens
Dewars kept the crowd in high spirits with some of their finest scotch whiskey and cocktails and entertainment was well taken care of.
The winner of this year’s Koroga will get to walk away with bragging rights as well as a whooping Ksh. 150,000! If I were you, I would get my team ready for next years Koroga!
