Red Onion Pickle

Inspired by late-night antics and cravings, this concoction is the perfect balance of sweet and sour.







Red Onion Pickle

Prep Time:


3 red onions
1/2 cup white vinegar
3tbs sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp peppercorns
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup hot water



  • Slice the onions thinly and place in a jar
  • In a bowl, mix the vinegar, sugar, salt, peppercorns, garlic and hot water
  • When it’s all dissolved, pour over the onions
  • Let sit on the counter for one hour then place in the fridge

*It should be good for three weeks.
