The World Luxury Hotel Awards recognize establishments for world-class service excellence. Awards are presented on a country, regional, continent and global basis. Winners are selected by public vote online, providing true recognition that reflects the hard work and dedication exhibited by the staff.

“Many factors play a part in determining the winner including brand, location, design, overall guest satisfaction, and feedback via online reviews. This year the focus was on unique design, classy elegance and outstanding service excellence,” said Tanique Eckhardt, Executive Manager of the World Luxury Awards.

In May 2019, Sankara Nairobi joined Marriott International’s distinctive collection of passionately independent hotels, Autograph Collection Hotels, marking the brand’s debut in Kenya. The diverse and distinguished portfolio of over 171 hotels around the world each deliver thoughtfully crafted and authentic experiences exactly like nothing else. Set in the heart of Westlands, Sankara Nairobi lies in the epicentre of the city’s commercial, retail, and entertainment quarter and boasts quintessential Kenyan charm and hospitality, contemporary interiors and carefully curated modern African art throughout the hotel.
