If you’re a die hard female fan and you’re hoping you could attend this meet and greet and take lots of selfies with Sauti Sol and show off on Instagram, Im sorry but it already happened. But before you go moping around, I have juicy details ( I sound like Im about to gossip here) that should keep you a step ahead of the rest.
First off, Clarence Peters, the famed Nigerian music video director, film maker and cinematographer, was present to talk to the media. He has taken up residence at the Best Western Premier Hotel and has so far shot two videos for the groups upcoming album, LIVE AND DIE IN AFRIKA. I smell another music video award on the way.
I had the chance to hang out with Chimano for a few and gathered some details about their upcoming project. For one, their latest album drops some time in June and features their hits, Sura Yako, Nishike and Nerea. The 15 track album is a composition of African stories told by Africans. The collaboration with Micasa is definitely in the works and he told me that they are shooting the video soon down in South Africa. Cant wait to hear that one!
In other news, Mother’s Day is around the corner, this Sunday actually. so here are a few articles that should help you with what to surprise your mum with.
