The Yummy team had a chance to check out the newly revamped Sierra Wine Bar & Grill and the newest addition to their menu: the Wagyu burger.
Sierra Wine Bar and Grill has been at Yaya Centre for years. The gourmet burgers, steaks and quality wine have been served up with excellent service in the cosy atmosphere. Change, however, is always welcome. The best part is that they have not taken away anything but added on to both their interior and menu.
The newly revamped restaurant looks elegant and sophisticated; the perfect place to enjoy a business lunch, after work drinks or a dinner date. The new gold geometric lighting system that lends a warm cosy vibe to the place comes courtesy of international designer Tom Dixon.
Under the faceted light that shines through the fine openings of these lamps, enjoy the newest addition to the menu: the famous Wagyu burger. The Yummy team had a chance to try it and we were not disappointed.
The burger was served medium rare with a generous serving of cheddar and crispy french fries on the side. Our first bite was juicy and filled with flavour. The burger may have looked bloody but all we could taste was well seasoned tender beef complimented by the butter on both sides of the perfectly baked buns. The Wagyu burger at Sierra is definitely the highlight of their menu now and worth a try.
If you’re there for more than just the burger then we suggest their crispy calamari as a starter and the pan-fried Nile Perch that rests on a bed of crunchy potato rostis. We know you won’t be disappointed.
