Beautiful Art Created From Spilled Food

written by Fred Mwithiga 7th July 2015

I love art. I love looking at it, and I enjoy eating it as well. Unfortunately, I can’t paint to save my life but I can make awesome designs with my ketchup whenever I have fries. There are people who are great at what they do. I recently came across an article  on finedininglovers.com about a lady who paints using coffee.

Spilt Coffee Turned Into Art

Forget the conventional water paints, oil paints and what not, she brews her coffee, spills it and paints with it. If you’re thinking that its little stick figures and smiley faces here and there, think again. Giulia Bernardelli, a 27 year old Italian artist, has mastered the art of spilt drink. She uses coffee, jam, honey, wine and even spices to bring her imagination to life. Whether its Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Mickey Mouse or a famous musician, her intricate works of art are one of a kind.

Moral of the story? The next time you’re at Artcaffé and your little one spills your coffee, let them get artsy with it. You never know what they might come up with!
